My 2012 malibu is making a clicking sound when I start the car...I had the battery and the alternator checked and they were fine..I get a jump and the car starts..by morning the clicking sound is back

I'd take it back to your local Chevrolet dealer and let them fix it for free. Your 2 year old Malibu should still be covered under new car warranty. Sounds like either something is draining the battery or the battery needs replacing. If the battery is the original AC Delco it's only a 3 year battery. I'd have them load test it. If it's bad you'll get some credit toward a new one. HTH. -Jim

Is it possible that your leaving the dome light on in the vehicle? Any battery should last more than 2 years if driven regularly but the clicking sound is only from you not having enough power to start your car, maybe it's just a faulty battery or possibly some type of device that you might be leaving on that is draining the battery. Id look around just to make sure never know iv'e done it a few times on accident. Good luck
