2011 Malibu Esc light power steering

Asked by GuruB2KFZ Jan 17, 2019 at 07:13 PM about the 2011 Chevrolet Malibu

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Esc light on my 2011 Chevy Malibu came on then the
power steering light came on and I had no power steering.
If I shut it off and turn it back on it's fine for a while. What
could cause this?

In most cases it's a steering angle sensor or a power steering motor. Repair costs usually vary from $300 to $600 depending on which part needs replacing.
