Car turns on then turns right back off

I got an oil change and air filter replacement done
on my car and 2 days later after I would drive it for
a while like 45 minutes it would slow down on it's
own with a dash light that read "engine power
reduced" then completely turn off, I turned it right
back on and it drove fine for a while and it
happened again, it did this for a couple of  but only
when I would drive it for a longer distance.
Eventually the distance it would run without turning
off got shorter and now when I turn it on it turns
right off. Any suggestions?

A reduced power warning means there is something seriously wrong with your car which needs immediate attention. Reduced power allows you to get the car home or to a shop without damaging anything. Also known as limp mode. You can have the car scanned for trouble codes which will likely lead you to the problem. Don't keep driving it like that for too long. Sooner or later it will leave you stranded. The problem is not going to fix itself.
