What make and model vehicle do you have? If you have an intelligent key fob there should be a regular metal key that slides out somewhere. Then simply unlock your car door (the old fashioned way) and jump start your vehicle. You should then be up and running.

In addition to what Turnernewholland has said, better to keep a spare key remote just in case.
