No power when driving forward

Bakkie have no power driving uphill,mechanic says it is 2 faulty valves,changed
new timing kit like i was told,but still no power when it pull uphill

If you did not repair the valves your engine will have no power.

Check the spark pluds and gaps. Check the spark plug leads. Is the camshaft timing correct ?
