Can I put a 2003 engine into a 2000 body of a Ford focus?

Probably not, The 2.0 engine went through a couple of design changes in the early 2000's.However, if you get the engine code based on the vin# of the car to be repaired and it matches the engine code of the doner vehicle it may work.
