We changed the transmission in my 2002 dodge neon and now that we have everything back together, it is stuck with the reverse lights on and will not crank. What could be my problem? Please help

Recheck all your connections and linkage. Hard for use to diagnose the issue where we sit and what you all did to swap transmissions.

we rechecked all connections and everything it is all plugged in right. This is like the 100th transmission my hubby has changed yet the first to do this with everything plugged in correct.
