I found an 80 CJ7 Tranny from a 256 6 cyl. I want to use it with my 72 CJ5 304 V8.
Is it an easy match?

Don't do it bro I have that 3 speed on mi jeep it not the same as a 4 speed I don't put out the same power

Question is, how difficult of a change is it? My cj5 does quite a bit of highway action. Days of ripping it in the mud and rocks are mostly over. I got a 4 speed from a 1980 CJ5 that had aa 258 Inline 6. Can I attach it to my 72 cj5 304 V8 easily.
