Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1977 Fiat that has been in garage ‘moth balled’ for last 15 months. The last 2
times Fiat has been started, there has been excess gas. Car starts and engine
runs great, but gas drips from engine. Any ideas of cause?

Look for: - A loose connection in a fuel line - A rubber fuel hose that has rotted and is leaking - A stuck float in the carburetor - I believe that you have a mechanical fuel pump in the engine bay. It might be leaking Good luck.
