opel corsa 1999 model 16is struggling to start

i have a opel corsa 16is 1999 model, the car starts as per normal in the
morning,, but when leaving work to go home , it doesnt want to start it swings
but doesnt take? till battery is flat, then i have to push it and itll take then

what could be my problem ?

On the pipe on your air filter there will be 2 sensors, your cold start switch and the idle sensor. check the cold start switch and either clean/replace it...had the exact same problem on my car replaced both sensors just to be safe and she starts like a dream now
