Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Randomly, the car will start running to rich to run properly, i can adjust the Air flow meter
to copensate, however, once done so, and it stops dumping the fuel, it runs too lean and
needs to be adjusted again, the AFM s new, as is the thermo time switch, and the
coolant temp sensor, new fuel injectors, new fuel filter, and new fuel pressure regulator

Check the purge valve for the EVAP system. It may be randomly sticking open and allowing to much fuel vapor or even raw fuel to be sucked into the intake manifold. HTH. -Jim

Also check all electrical connections. These cars are known for having corrosion issues in the connectors and this causing all sorts of weird things to randomly happen. If a connection issue usually unplugging them and adding di elect grease in connector gets the connection back good as new.
