I bought a 1994 C280 and it's come with some problems. Engine heats up to 90°C never been cooler than 80. In order for the car not to go above 90°C, overheat and stop I keep the defrost on

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The problem is I have to roll down
the windows otherwise it's fricken
hot inside. Two mechanics told me
you just have to keep the windows
down, they run hot, which is an
utterly stupid answer.   I'm sure they
didn't come off the factory line with
the set of instructions on how to
operate it   Yeah show me that in the
manual
Can someone tell me what is
wrong with my Mercedes-Benz ?

Does the engine cooling fan come on at all? If not you should probably start there AFTER you've checked that there's coolant in the system and you don't have a leak anywhere.
