shorted alt when replacing now wont crank over

fuses good batt good  fusible link replaced/lights horn /everything works but
wont turn over with key.what do i do next?

I would double check the fuses and fusible links. Some cars in the eighties had at least two fusible links. Not sure about your model tho. Check for power at ignition switch.
