Question I have an 08 Crown Vic with a 4-6 police
interceptor with blown head gaskets has 88,000 is
it worth fixing

Really up to you if you want to fix it . If your going to keep it a year or more, then it would make sense to repair. If you don't fix it, you won't get much for it and have a hard time selling. No one wants a car that needs a work. The cost for repair is in the range of $1300- $2200. The car is worth around $4500 if you have just over 100K ,miles in nice shape.

Yes , if you know how to do it but to have it done by a garage than it becomes "marginal" providing everything else is OK

Blown head gaskets are not real common on the 4.6. Was it overheated?

Personally I wouldn't put that kind of money in a 10 year old car. I'd use the money for a down payment on something newer. These engines are more prone to intake manifold problems. I'd be looking at that before condemning the head gaskets. HTH. -Jim
