Why is my 1990 3.1 gt pumping fuel into the air cleaner box?

Asked by Jun 22, 2011 at 11:13 PM about the 1990 Chevrolet Beretta

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I start the car, fuel comes running into the air cleaner box. I hear a motor running by the head next to the fire wall, but don't know what it is. It also revs high and then low, then just dies if I don't keep the throttleing it up. NEED HELP!!!!!
