2007 Pontiac G6Review

This is my second Pontiac G6 GT Hardtop Convertible. 1st one is a 2007 at 170K miles with no major issues other than normal maintenance. I hit a dear in it, totaled the car but didnt even crack the radiator. Bought it back from insurance, husband fixed it and still on the road 4-1/2 years later! Bought the 2009 with low miles because I love the car! Best car I have ever owned!!! They need to bring Pontiac back to the market!!!!!! |

Great Great Car - Future Classic And Fun To Drive! — Nothing to gripe about except it gets a bad rap from the recall issues of other GM vehicles of the era. This one was built right and only had the one minor fix of tail light wiring. Nice power and a hoot to drive! Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Sports Car Handling with Plenty of Leg Room for Front Passengers-Very well built body, quiet with top up. Cons: Trunk lid is not counter balanced well. |

I Really Loved It And Will Miss It. — I mostly used this car to get around with the kids and to get to work. It is really good on gas. We have taken long trips in it without any problems. The trunk is plenty large enough for us and the leg room was adequate ( I am 5 foot 7 inches). Handles great, very nice take off. Cruse control was used on long trips to prevent speeding. I sometimes found myself speeding ( think that's more me than the car). I enjoyed owning my G6 but with more kids I needed more room. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: With the V6 engine you have lots of power on take off. Great family car back seat fits 3 people easily. The electric front seat lifts and lowers the seat to adjust between a tall driver and a short. Trunk has plenty of space. Cons: Power makes it easy to get a speeding ticket so, watch your speed! |

A Great Car! — I love how it looks. Even though it is a 2007 it looks like a newer car! It has great acceleration, you can get to speed quickly. I feel very safe driving this car even though it is a convertible because it is a hard top! It is a very fun car to drive, most guys like driving it because you can drive it as a stick! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: It is a great car! It is reliable and it looks very nice and sporty! Cons: Not the greatest on gas, but better then a truck! |
