Fast Stock, Big Potential, And A Cool And Fun Ride. — This car can act like a normal sedan, but turn into a roaring cannon if you really want to. The FX is a pretty awesome car. The engine is the same as the base model but has a different exhaust system, making the car louder to seem faster. Leather seats and steering wheel, and the sleek black interior color combined with a greatly layed out gauge display, as well as your heat and radio buttons, to make a sick interior that'll wow your friends. The acceleration from 0-60 is fast but 60-100 is where the real power kicks in. Stock, this car can keep up with and even beat many of other same-era tuner cars. Needless to say, this car is super fun to drive, quickly accelerate and take sharp turns.

Pros: FAST- This car is quite fast, its rated with 140hp but is actually 10-14hp higher due to incorrect tuning for the specific year it was made.
SAFE- I crashed on the Interstate while I was driving 65mph during a snow/freezing rain storm, I lost control and drifted across 2 lanes of traffic, then the driver side front end taped the snow banking on the guard rail causing the car to do a 360 turn and the passenger side rear end hit the snowbank. The inside of the car was 100% smooth during the whole thing, my friend's huge chocolate lab was in the back completely unscathed and the only damage was a small part of the undercover plastic broke (20$ fix).
HANDLING- Handles good, takes turns like a boss NOT IN SNOW though.

Cons: VISIBILITY- The way the windshield wipers are causes a long vertical blockage of potentially dirty glass, adding a good sized blind spot.
INTERIOR SIZE- Its a bit cramped at first but not too bad after you settle in to it, the back seat has almost no space if you have someone in the front too, so there's almost no point, just adds weight to the car.

I Love My Car. — I have lowered it on Intrax spring with GR-2's, Slotted and cross drilled rotors, EBC pads, Stainless steel braided brake lines. Full cat back exhaust. Center force dual friction clutch. Other than that, the car has ran wonderfully for 168k No complaints. I do have a worry about the differential. I may have burner it out getting unstuck out of a sand trap. But that was my fault.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It is fun to drive.

Cons: The front rotors are behind the hubs.

Awesome Pick Up For A Daily Driver That You Can Have Fun It For Cheap! —

Performance - Acceleration is pretty good. For a 4 cylinder 2.0 engine with no upgrades, it does a decent job. It being over a 10 year old car, it can keep up with some of the newer cars, which is surprising. The brakes are fantastic. The handling is also great. It can take bends very well. I took a bend at 60 mph and barely skidded tires. Build Quality - Only thing big that it needed since I got it was a clutch($700) and new rotors/brakes($900). Other than that, this car is solid! Appearance - The interior is kinda cheap in my model. Since it is the base model, I didn't expect much. Even it being a 10 year old car, the interior is still in great shape. The exterior is starting to fade. The paint is starting to peal and have blemishes. Other than that, everything is looking good. Cost - The gas mileage is fantastic. I can run all week to work and not fill up, while my family is filling up 2-3 times. I also only put it $40, while they are putting in $70. Other than what I said up top, this car has maintained itself very well. Fun Factor - This car is a blast to drive. I have the 5 speed and I love driving it. I am not sure I could say the same about an Automatic, but I come home from school some weekends just to drive it around.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The car is decently quick and gets me from point A to point B without any problems.

Cons: I hate that I got this car so late. The people before me kind of beat it to death, but it still is in great shape.

I Love It! Very Good Car.. — Well.. It's Hyundai.. So it's NOT fast.. But because of that, it's as reliable as anything german. Very comfortable ride. Highway/Freeway cruising is relaxing.. It still has some fine lines for a 12 year old car, will never really get old! If you can find one in good condition.. BUY IT!! You won't be dissapointed..

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fuel Efficient! Good road trip car..

Cons: The cab is quite small.. So for a family, it just won't work..

I'd Buy It, Its A Non-turbo Eclipse Killer — The Hyundai Tiburon Is A very great car overall, it handles like a boss, the acc. off tha line is great, and the suspension is excellent, after 3rd gear, the car looses its get up and go factor, but it only has 137HP at the flywheel, if you were to get this car, get tha 5speed!!!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: everything that a sprited driver would want

Cons: The acc. after 3rd gear, Expencive Car

If You Are Thinking Of Buying One Go For It — I once beat a mustang 5.0 in this car. Honda Civic's Hatchbacks didn't stand a chance, my brother had one and beating whim was like a joke. The engine had a nice sound when the throtle was fully open, it wasn't too loud, you would think the engine was a V6 or V8

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cons: You'll get addicted to speed
