The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport was designed to project a sportier image within the Range Rover family. Its tall stance was complemented by a shorter wheelbase and a chopped top, giving it a more athletic appearance compared to the traditional Range Rover. The large front air intakes and fake vents on the hood and fenders added to its sporty look, although from certain angles, it appeared a bit too tall and narrow. The lineup included SE, Dynamic SE, Autobiography, and SV Edition Two trims, with the Dynamic SE offering a Stealth appearance package. Our test car, the SV Edition 2, featured 23-inch carbon-fiber wheels and a carbon-fiber hood, giving it a sleeper look in Marl Grey. Inside, the SV Edition 2 boasted red leather upholstery, sport seats with light-up “SV” inserts, and illuminated steering-wheel paddle shifters, maintaining a minimalist aesthetic with a touchscreen, stubby shifter, and engine start button.

The 2025 Toyota Sienna, while still resembling a minivan, attempted to add style with its trapezoidal grille and upswept body lines. The Platinum trim level introduced new flower-petal wheel designs. Despite these efforts, the Sienna retained its minivan identity, offering practicality with seating for up to eight. Our test vehicle, the top-of-the-line Platinum model, featured the new Magnetic Gray paint color and came loaded with an extended connected services subscription, all-weather floor mats, and a digital rearview mirror. The interior received updates, including a new woodgrain finish, although opinions on its aesthetics varied. Overall, the Sienna’s interior was considered an improvement over previous models.

The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport offered a range of powertrain options, all paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard four-wheel drive. The base SE model featured a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine producing 355 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. It could accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 180 mph. The Range Rover Sport excelled in both on-road performance and off-road capability, thanks to its sport-tuned air suspension, four-wheel steering, and Terrain Response system.
