It slots below the Envision and Enclave in Buick’s three-model crossover lineup. While Buick is generally considered a step up from mainstream brands, the Encore GX’s size and pricing are more in line with subcompact SUVs from mainstream brands, such as the Hyundai Kona and Mazda CX-30, or the lifted-hatchback Subaru Crosstrek. In fact, the Encore GX shares powertrains and a basic platform with one of these vehicles—the Chevrolet Trailblazer. The only change for 2023 is a new extra-cost Moonstone Gray Metallic paint option. The 2022 Kia EV6 had a sporty and svelte design reminiscent of a Ford Mustang Mach-E, with a lower and wider stance that gave it a visually appealing look. Its short highback tail featured a lip spoiler doubling as a lightbar, and the wheels were pushed to the furthest corners of the chassis, giving the body a hip-like appearance. The EV6's voluptuous curves, similar to those on a Porsche 911, added both style and stability. The headlights squinted in anger, tracing a V-shaped pattern that mirrored the black trim below on the bumper, which mimicked air intakes but were sealed due to the electric motors. The wedgy profile, with its angled roofline and twin ducts in the rear spoiler, combined with the smooth and silken lower body, especially in matte silver paint, made the EV6 a visual delight.
