The SLE1, SLE2, and SLT1 trims come with a 4.2-liter, 291-hp inline-6 engine, while the Denali has a 5.3-liter, 302-hp V8. All 8 trims use a four-speed automatic transmission. The 4WD trims get 15 mpg in the city, 21 on the highway, while the 2WD trims get 16 and 22, respectively. The Envoy has 4 doors and seats 5. Cargo space comes out to 43.7/80.1 cubic feet.
Overall, drivers agree that the Envoy provides comfort and powerful engines in its lineup. On the other hand, this midsize SUV could use better materials, better handling, and tighter steering. The Envoy needs to correct some noticeable flaws before it can assume a stronger position in the market.

Not a bad SUV for the price we got. The L6 (NOT a V6!) is quite powerful and bit more efficient. The SUV has done markedly on all surfaces and nearly all conditions. We did not take it off-road because we want to preserve the trade in value of the vehicle before moving to Hawaii this summer. We cut back on the number of miles usually driven by the US average of 50% for this reason.Mar 11, 2014

I bought it 03/22 I have about 1850 miles and they are excellent miles. This is a road machine you set up fairly high, very small blind spots, very nibble while rolling down the highway, alittle tuff to turn at parking lot speeds 0 to 10mph but holds very rapid requests very well, it doesn't lean into your turns like the Explorer,Dodge, or Jeep it just cuts it quite nicely, has everything you could want memory sits 8 way with lumbar Onstar, XM 6cd Bose system, Auto AC all the airbags including curtain AB through out leater appointed interior very comfortable, better then my old Crown Victoria,Gas mileage was an expected negative but is not terribleApr 10, 2007

No crank no start I can't figure this out I need help.
I bought 2007 Envoy SLE 4.2 very well taken care of. I got in it started right up I drove about 10 minutes down the road came to a light and it just died. Haven't gotten it started since. I've replaced the battery the battery terminals I've put new starter in still nothing just one click no start. Everything else works on vehicle I put it on a ODMll comes back 2 codes P0449 Evap Purge system but that won't keep me from running I'm at a loss please help me.

How do I get brake pedal pressure
I removed left front brake caliper on "07 GMC Envoy because it seized up. the new caliper was wrong part so I ordered new one..Overnight, with the brake line to the caliper disconnected brake fluid drained out of the reservoir onto the ground. Once I reinstalled new caliper and topped off reservoir, I can not get a hard pedal by bleeding, I get good flow out of bleed plug but pedal keeps going to the floor, will not pump up and no pressure is applied to rotor, can turn it by hand.What is wrong, I have never had this issue bleeding brake fluid from "other vehicles", the pedal would always pump up after bleeding the calipers?

I have GMC envoy 2007 RWD. what happens to my vehicle is that it would not shift from 1st to 2nd gear while the speedo is stuck at 0. Once the engine has warmed up enough, i will notice that all of a sudden, the speedometer starts moving and gear shifts to 2nd immediately... after that it shifts and speedo runs perfectly. what could be the issue?
