Overview
A 7th generation Mustang will be upon us in 2024, but for now the current generation has more than enough to satisfy. The EcoBoost might have a turbocharged four-cylinder under the hood, but it’s a doozy. Plus, a six-speed manual is standard. You can opt for a 10-speed automatic but really, why would you? The Mustang remains a classic with plenty of options to turn it into a track monster, but some find the interior quality to be sub-par. The GT will give you a 5.0-liter V8 while the Mach 1 will give you better handling and a bit more power than the GT.
Key Features
- Peppy turbocharged engine
- Manual transmission
- Convertible available
- Electronic line lock
- Launch control
Pricing Details
The Ford Mustang EcoBoost Premium coupe starts at an MSRP of around $32,000. The convertible option adds another $5,550. Used examples on CarGurus range from $11,683.00 to $30,998.00 with an average price of $14,954.22. You can add a high output engine with a bit more power and a performance package for $6,150 and we like the MagnaRide dampers for an additional $1,995.
