Good service. Although it was an unfortunate experience the finance part didn't go through. The salesman seems has efforted trying to negotiate with banks for couples of hours. They were very nice explaining the situation and possible options. Additionally their dealer fee is the lowest I ever met. It must be flawless experience if able to get the car.

I would recommend this dealer to anyone who is looking for a quality used car. It was truly hassle free. No need to negotiate because the price was already the lowest. Everyone at the dealership was very pleasant and i ended up buying the vehicle.

I made an appointment to go see a vehicle. When making the appointment I made sure to ask the customer service rep if I would be called if the car was sold. I was told I would receive a call if it's sold and they'll try to find a car with simulators. A day before my appointment I recieved a call to confirm which I did. When I hung up the phone with the representative Something told me to go online and see if the listing was still available and low and behold it was SOLD. I called right back to confirm the vehicle was sold and the rep told me it was sold early in the morning. Rgat would've been a 2hr ride there plus tolls from New York to New Jersey and the car I wanted was no longer in the lot. 2 days later I recieved another call to see if I was still on the market for a car I told them my issue and also told them if they do not have the same car make, model and color I didn't want the impala they had in the lot once I said that I was hung up on. I will never try doing business there again.

Dealer was good at getting back after phone calls. Car was not ready even though I had called ahead but they got it ready quickly. Dealership was clean and comfortable. No pressure, No haggle. Only reason I didn't buy was that car had an odor.

Went there for a Subaru but wasn't pleased with the performance I wouldn't recommend anyone go for the same 2012 legacy I think there's something up with that car. But ended up with a 2014 Mazda 3 , the price you see is the price you pay . No $2000 in hidden fees nonsense . Would define recommend!

It's unfortunate that you feel you would not recommend us because we do not negotiate price. What should be noted is why we do not negotiate. It is because we price our vehicles at or slightly above clean wholesale, and our prices are typically thousands below what other dealers ask for comparable vehicles. With this approach, customers only have to find a vehicle that suits them, and not concern themselves with the unpleasantness that comes with a long, drawn out negotiation. I was not at all happy with the way Automotive Avenues dealt with me. I had to constantly follow-up with them however did not get any response. The car that I was looking for was sitting with them for over 265 days and yet they were not responsive to help me get the deal.

The first comment I'd make is that we do not hold vehicles for 265 days. As far as follow up, it's probably our strong suit. We have a 4 person in-house business development team to handle phone calls, as well as a call center to handle email leads. I'm not sure why you felt we were unresponsive but I'd invite you to contact me personally if I can ever be of assistance to you.

Place was great! Nice and clean lots of different cars. Prices were great. I dealt with Nicky D told him I didn't have the best credit and he was able to get me into the car I wanted since I was 17. He was simple honest and straight to the point. Everyone in the place is very welcoming and make you feel comfortable. If I had to buy a car again I would easily recommend this place!

I was in contact with a representative via text and was prompted to contact Morris in regards to details of the deal I would like to make. I contacted Morris and explained that I understand negotiations are typically done in person and my inquiry was see if the price was final or negotiable. The example I gave was the list price of the 2011 Silverado was $19,995, I asked if $19,000 was feasible and if so I would travel to the dealership today to purchase the truck. Morris began explaining the concept of negotiations and how large the dealership is. He further explained that they did not need a sign to advertise and that they offered the best deals. He stated that is why I was calling from 2 hours away. I again stated I was only asking if the price was negotiable which he vaguely stated it was not. At this time I declined to pursue further action as I was unhappy with the demeanor of Morris. I would have welcomed any negotiation or reciprocal effort as this truck was only intended to be used on a parcel of property I recently acquired. Customer service should still be paramount and in this case was a failure. I would not recommend this dealership. Regards, Jesse

I'm sorry you were unhappy with Morris's response. He tried to explain to you multiple times that the listed price was our best. Rather than understand and appreciate his honesty, you continued to make offers below the listed price. Apparently your disappointment stems from the fact that we would not discount the vehicle, which was already $3000 below comparably priced vehicles. I'm sorry you feel the way you do but hope you understand that by offering the best price first, we are making the car buying process, faster, easier, and more pleasant for the customer.

Had a wonderful experience at Automotive Avenues in Wall, NJ Javier was very helpful even though he was so busy. They even brought in pizza for everyone. Really appreciated entire team and that is what they are, A TEAM. They all worked together to handle the large crowd of people and to make sure each individual had their needs met. Being apprehensive about buying a vehicle site-not-seen, the experience was as I hoped it would be. The details and pictures listed online to conversation about the vehicle were spot on. They never seemed bothered with my thousand questions I had and followed through with all. I paid for the vehicle, had paperwork within 3 days(holiday in that mix), sent back the paperwork on a Friday, got a call on the next Monday that the car was being shipped and received it on Wednesday. Total of 7 days which included a Holiday and a weekend. Pretty awesome in my opinion as I must say I am in Southern Indiana and they are in New Jersey. 4 stars because I was skeptical about the process never having bought a vehicle or made a purchase this large all online and possible been warmed a bit more during the process but they were very polite and professional and not pushy at all.

I had bought a 2010 Esclade from here about a year ago. There were some issues with it, but they took care of all of them when they were not obligated to do so. I saw a 2015 Escalade advertised. It was the model and price point I had been looking for for almost a year. I got a very fast response and made an appointment for the next day after speaking to a salesman and another woman. I changed but confirmed the appointment and even called to let them know I was on my way which was over an hour's drive. When I got there, I was informed the vehicle had just sold. I was irate. A breakdown in communication. I even spoke to the gentleman who just bought the vehicle. The owner, Billy, came out to speak with me and I spent some time with him. He assured me he will rectify the situation and find me the car I'm looking for when I am ready. I have full confidence that he will. I look forward to buying my second vehicle from Automotive Avenues. Overall I would recommend Automotive Avenues to anyone. Their response and follow up is quick. The cars are high quality at a good price. In spite of my disappointment on this vehicle, things happen. Someone got a great deal on a great vehicle here. It just wasn't me this. However, I'm sure you'll be reading another review when I do but my next vehicle here.

I would have given 5 stars since overall this dealer was quite a surprise. Overall the operation runs like a top rate dealership and not at all like a "business-as-usual' "used car lot". My needs were taken seriously and I got a fair deal based on my research and expectations. The vehicle was well prepped for my pick up. The vehicle itself is so far after 1 week quite nice. My salesman was a very nice guy who I would call a friend. My only criticism so far is that the dealership has to vet the clientele based on the kind of vehicle and not just as a used car buyer. Certain kinds of people buyt certain types of cars. This is of course not a standard either so there is always a judgement call in this regard. I was treated well at every step. I did feel that I had to push a bit more to get the kind of attention I am used to. This is not a complaint just my sense of how I feel about the service I received so I held back 1 star. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. Thanks Ken

Simply not true!

A car that is listed for $12,995 will cost $13,284 plus applicable sales tax and DMV charges. For example, assuming this customer was located in New Jersey, the out the door price all inclusive would be $14,343.65. We have no hidden fees and any implication otherwise is just not the case.

I spoke with a salesperson over the phone and asked to test drive a car I found on their website. When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted by the receptionist with the news, You need to sign in and give us your phone number. This abrupt introduction to the place turned me off. Later, at a Honda dealership, the salesman said that practice was against privacy laws. No wonder it felt off. Overall experience was unpleasant.

There's absolutely nothing odd or illegal about asking customers for their name and phone number when they arrive at a dealership. It's a very common practice, and allows the dealership to identify the customer who likely has previously contacted a sales associate. In short, it helps the dealership provide a higher level of service to the customer which is always our goal.

Fantastic!!! Purchased the car of my dreams at a great price. I loved not having to negotiate the price. My purchasing experience went like this: I found the car in crgurus.com. I was directed to automotive avenues. I spoke with the salesman Nicky on the phone. He described the car to a "T". He read the car fax report to me. I put a deposit on the car over the phone. Three days later, I visited the showroom. The car was exactly as described. I took the car for a test drive and a couple hours later I was driving home in my awesome beetle ****tips - take a certified check - automotive avenues does not accept personal checks and have your insurance information prepared. NJ polices are different than PA's when it come to coverage of a newly purchased vehicle.

Horrible customer service. Was ready to make drive and purchase the vehicle prior to making phone call. Once i called and asked two questions, sales representative told me he wouldn't answer either. Then fed me a line about advertising with Google and belittled me.

Great experience! Had a vehicle in sight, but they had large and well maintained selection. The computerized search option of all their vehicles was quite convenient. And to top it all, their professionalism and customer service was top notch. My Salesperson was Nicky, who was very attentive efficient even as he serviced multiple customers. Will d.efinitely stop here first when searching for next vehicle in a few years

A WASTE OF TIME. Magan scheduled me an appointment on a day she was off. I drove over 200 miles , only to find out the car was sold the night before. Did not get a phone call like I asked for if the car would have gotten sold. Then, there was a title problem when I Carfaxed it. They assured me there were none and offered to send me a copy of the full report, which I never received . Go figure. Worst Experince Ever Car Shopping

I checked with Megan and she was adamant that there was no appointment made. Our Customer Relations Management (CRM) system also shows no appointment so it appears that you came on your own without confirming with Megan. While that's fine, and customers are welcome to visit our dealership without making an appointment beforehand, there is always the possibility that the vehicle of interest is sold prior to the customer's arrival.

As far as any Carfax issue, there was none! The vehicle had a clean Carfax with no accidents, and it was available free on our website. I do not sure why

Amazing experience! Very nice, professional but formal for comfortability. Had everything done the way i wanted with no excuse. No hidden fees no mistakes no rush! Dealer lied about condition of vehicle after I asked explicit questions prior to driving 240 miles to look at vehicle which they were aware of. Truck had a flat tire, and many things a asked to be checked were not in the condition listed. Refused to deal at all. Very disrespectful sales team.

False. The reviewer is simply upset that we refused to take $2000 off the advertised price as he requested. The vehicle has brand new tires and the fact that one needed a few pounds of air added hardly translates into a $2000 discount. Had he asked about the possibility of a discount before driving 240 miles, we certainly would have told him that was not a possibility.

I Tried two times with this dealer. I was treated bad the first time. it was like they didn't want to make a sale. I came in with close to 10k cash and a trade in the second time. Mike was good except he told me it was supposed to be washed and ready for a test drive. he also told me it was in great shape. When I got the the truck the truck was dirty and badly rusty. Worst experience at a dealership

The truck you came to see was a local trade in that was 8 years old with over 100,000 miles on it. I am very familiar with the truck and it happens to be in very nice condition, and does not have a speck of rust on the body. The undercarriage is very clean as well with only typical wear that you would find on any vehicle of this age and mileage. I'm also aware of the fact that you wanted to buy the truck but it was priced above what you were able to afford. It's important to understand that the finance rates are set by the lender, not the dealer. While I do not know about your specific approval, I will tell you that the credit rating is not the only thing that the bank looks at. They also look at income, the amount of credit you have established, the amount of debt you currently have, as well as other factors. Someone did contact me the first time i inquired about availability of the vehicle but just to let me know it was in stock. I went to see it a couple of days later and Anthony greeted me and showed the truck to me and we took it for a test drive. Anthony was great; showed me everything I asked for; no pressure; let me check the truck out for as long as I liked. The only thing I wasn't thrilled about is there was that there didn't appear to be any negotiating room in the price. I might have bought it on the spot

They were ok, I was working with them, I knew my credit was a little shot, they asked for money down. I emailed back saying I could put $6500 down on a $20K car. They never got back to me.. I ended up financing a car with a nearby dealer that was around the same amount.. I only put $1000 down and it was through the same bank that automotive avenues was supposed to be working with.. I feel like they just slept on a deal.. Slackers in there..

If we do not get a loan approved then we do not make a sale. It's that simple, which is why we have 2 full time finance managers working with 20 different banks to get our customers approved at the lowest rates possible. We are one of the largest independent dealers in the state so if we can't get it done..it most likely cannot get done at all!

My Salesman Tim and Finance Manager Steve made my purchase the fastest and easiest I've ever had. I got to the dealership a little after 5pm. And was driving off their lot by 645pm. Everyone was pleasant and professional. Would recommend this dealer to ANYONE looking for a used car in GREAT condition.

Michael,

I'm sorry about the poor communication. We always try to contact a customer as soon as a sales lead comes in. If we are unable to reach a customer, we will typically call daily until we do. I'm not sure what happened in this case, but if you're dissatisfied, we obviously should have done a better job. As far as trade values go, we do not use wholesalers (middlemen) so our trade allowances are typically much higher than you would find elsewhere. Obviously there are always going to be cases where a customer feels their car is worth more, but I can honestly tell you we are not afraid

It was quite obvious which car I was interested in, however nobody seemed interested in trying to make a sale. I stood in the office just waiting for Chris to come out of his office and discuss my options for financing the car, which I made quite simple since I submitted my credit application earlier that day. I waited for nearly an hour before I left.

Fast friendly and no pressure to buy. Stock changes frequently so call ahead to make sure the car you want to see is still there. Great dealer!

I visited this dealer I called 2 days prior to going. I called again the day before going to be sure the vehicle was still there. The salesman couldn't find the keys then went outside and couldn't find the vehicle. He finally brought the vehicle around. He handed me the keys and said check it out and walked away. He said don't mind the car being dirty it's been sitting in the garage for awhile. There was no pressure which was a good thing but there really was no customer service either. The next dealer I went to had the vehicle detailed and sitting out front when I arrived needless to say I purchased from them.

Great price but the mileage was too high. The dealer called and emailed me. He stated the car was sold but offered to find me another CRV. He was very pleasant and gave me driving directions.

The person when I first called was rude on the phone. The sales staff seemed uncaring when I looked at the car. The salesman, John, let me test drive it, not with him but with a mechanic who didn't speak English. After the test drive I just left without anyone speaking to me.

A real no nonsense dealer. Clayton assured me they had the car that I was interested in. Drove an hour to pleasantly find it was everything that the listing said it was. Bought the car and drove it home the next day. My firsthand experience has been nothing but positive and from my observances feel that this dealer is probably too busy to be paying games with anyone.

Purchased a nice vehicle... Communications between dealership and buyer left a lot to be desired, caused a lot of stress and anxiety taking the excitement out of purchase. Not sure if the problem was with the salesman or the dealership. In either need case it was more stressful than need be.The vehicle was purchased on 9/8 deposit paid full. . The total balance was received by dealer in AM on 9/10 by wire transfer, vehicle was delivered 9/18 after considerable confusion and 300.00 dollar increase in cost. Vehicle arrived with no title or temp plate. Had to contact the dealership to ascertain as to where the title was. They located it and said they would overnite it. I can only hope. ..

The best car buying experience I ever had. The sales and management team were friendly and did not push me to buy any extra services I didn't need or want. The car was priced well and in excellent condition. They gave me a fair price for my trade in as well.

We were looking to buy a 2005-06 Chevy Tahoe--did a lot of internet screening and then went to look at our short list. Very nice vehicles at this dealer, a set internet price they probably would not flex on. We put a deposit on an suv that needed a very minor fix-it (fan switch)--then found a vehicle at another dealer we liked a bit more. This place held the car til we decided, then gave us our deposit back with absolutely no hassle when we went for the other vehicle. Clean, friendly place with good selection--I suspect they sell enough vehicles they do not need to turn the screws. Very positive experience and we do highly recommend them. Things could have gotten a bit nasty, but they were pros start to finish.
