Why it stands out
The Hyundai Sonata stands out as a compelling choice in the midsize sedan market, offering a sleek design and an abundance of standard safety and tech features. Additionally, its competitive pricing makes it a great value compared to traditional rivals like the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry, enhancing its appeal for budget-conscious buyers.
Other model years to consider
For those considering a Hyundai Sonata, the 2021 and 2018 model years stand out as particularly strong options. The 2021 Sonata offers excellent user satisfaction with a high average price reflecting its value proposition, while the 2018 model provides affordability without sacrificing quality, making it a smart choice for budget-conscious buyers. Both years feature solid market positioning, characterized by favorable deal percentages and positive expert ratings, ensuring buyers can enjoy a reliable vehicle with good resale potential.
Model years to approach with caution
When considering the Hyundai Sonata across various model years, buyers should carefully evaluate their options based on financial implications, quality ratings, and availability. The 2011 model stands out as a moderately suitable choice with an average price of $6,286.57 and a user rating of 4.4/5, though it's worth noting that 74% of listings are not classified as good or great deals. Conversely, the older models like the 2009 and 2010 Sonatas present lower average prices and solid user ratings but also face high percentages of listings that may not represent optimal value, highlighting the importance of thorough research before making a purchase decision.
