Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L a good car?

The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L stands out because it brings Jeep’s familiar blend of capability and premium features into a three-row package. It is especially appealing if you want a family SUV with a more upscale feel than many mainstream rivals while still keeping Jeep’s off-road identity intact.

For 2025, you can choose from a wide range of trims, from more affordable versions to luxury-oriented ones, and the higher trims add features such as fine leather, advanced technology, Active Driving Assist, and even a front passenger entertainment screen. That spread makes it a strong fit if you want a three-row SUV that can be tailored toward comfort, tech, or capability.

33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L reliable?

The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is part of the fifth-generation Grand Cherokee family, which arrived in late 2021, so it is still a relatively new design. Its appeal comes from combining capability, comfort, and technology in one package rather than chasing the simplest formula.

Because the experience can vary a lot by trim and equipment, long-term ownership risk for used buyers is tied more to how the vehicle was configured and maintained than to a single simple setup.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re serious about, especially if the vehicle has had multiple owners or a lot of miles. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the condition of the drivetrain, electronics, suspension, and any higher-end features that may be expensive to repair. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, since the Grand Cherokee L’s equipment can vary significantly by trim.

What is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L's resale value?

The current average of $38,469 sits slightly below last year's $42,685.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more selectively today. If you buy well now and keep the SUV in strong condition, you’ll be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.88% compared with last year.
