How much does the 2024 Subaru Legacy cost?

Is the 2024 Subaru Legacy a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 Subaru Legacy. The overview points to a midsize sedan that makes standard all-wheel drive part of the package, along with a more spacious interior, a stiffer chassis, better ride quality, and a quieter cabin. If you want a sedan that leans toward comfort, refinement, and all-weather confidence, that combination gives it a clear identity. 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Subaru Legacy reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview emphasizes Subaru’s long-running reputation for safety and comfort, plus standard EyeSight safety equipment across the range. It also notes a quieter cabin, a stiffer chassis, and a more refined ride, all of which support the impression of a well-rounded daily driver. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the concept and more about making sure the specific car you choose has been maintained well and still feels tight, quiet, and mechanically sound.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Subaru Legacy?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully so you can confirm the car’s background and spot any prior damage or title issues. Put the inspection focus on overall condition, especially the cabin, ride quality, and signs that the car has been used as a comfortable daily driver rather than neglected. Because this model’s appeal depends heavily on refinement, you want to make sure the specific example you choose still feels quiet, clean, and well cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Subaru Legacy?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,086 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.36% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,739, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Subaru Legacy's resale value?

The current average of $24,767 sits slightly below last year's $25,366.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also mean future resale gains are likely to be gradual rather than dramatic. If you plan to sell later, the current pricing trend points to a model that should remain reasonably accessible to used shoppers, but not one that is likely to command a big premium simply because of market momentum. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Subaru Legacy or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the Legacy’s standard AWD, comfort-focused setup, and a market that still offers a fair number of deal-priced listings. If your priority is simply the lowest possible entry price, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 is the better fit when you want the most current version of this formula without stepping outside the Legacy’s core strengths.
