Generally — the 2024 Porsche 911 earns 4/5, and its appeal comes from the way it blends the model’s rear-engine layout, iconic styling, and broad performance range. The lineup spans from the Carrera to more focused variants, so you can shop for a version that fits everyday driving, touring, or track use. The 2024 Porsche 911’s appeal is rooted in its distinctive shape, long-running rear-engine layout, and wide performance range. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying a premium for a car that may have been driven hard or maintained inconsistently.

Should I buy a 2024 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 4.72% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $220,375, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $223,847 average.
• It offers a broader mix of variants and a more comfort-oriented feel.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $226,964, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $223,847 average.
• It brings a refreshed look and updated power output.

The 2024 is the best fit if you want the current-year balance of desirability, market support, and strong inventory quality. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value path because it comes in below the current average while still delivering the 911 experience.
