How much does the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L cost?

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L.

The 2024 Grand Cherokee L stands out because it brings the Grand Cherokee formula into a three-row package while keeping the model’s familiar blend of capability and premium features. You get a wide spread of personalities, from fairly basic entry-level models to upscale trims with fine leather and advanced technology features, so it can fit both practical family use and a more premium shopping list.

That flexibility makes it appealing if you want a three-row SUV with a more distinctive character than many mainstream rivals. The market also shows 36.3% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Grand Cherokee L is described as mostly new mechanically, with only the engines and a few other pieces carried over from its predecessor. It also benefits from the WL lineup’s available powertrains and a broad trim spread, which gives you options without changing the core formula.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific vehicle you choose has been maintained well, since higher-complexity trims and powertrains can be more expensive to live with if neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report to confirm the vehicle’s background and verify that the listing matches the seller’s claims. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-trim example with more equipment and more systems to evaluate.

Focus on overall condition, including interior wear, electronics, and signs of inconsistent maintenance. A clean history is a good starting point, but the best used example is the one that also shows careful ownership.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L?

This is a moderate market, so selective buyers can still find value if they shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,695 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.59% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $32,858, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L's resale value?

The current average of $34,306 sits slightly below last year's $34,861.

That modest decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently today but may also mean future resale gains are limited if prices continue to soften. For a seller, the current trend points to steady rather than rising demand, so condition and trim choice matter more when it is time to trade or sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.59% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $31,164, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $34,306 average.
• It emphasizes comfort and premium feel over raw capability.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the newer market position, strong inventory, and a broad mix of trims and features. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the better value path, especially if you find one in strong condition and can live with its older pricing structure.
