How much does the 2024 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices have softened 1.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,562 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Honda CR-V a good car?

The 2024 Honda CR-V is a well-rounded choice if you want a compact crossover that prioritizes practicality, safety, and everyday ease of use, and its user rating is 3.8/5. Honda’s redesign gives it a bigger interior and a cabin that is easy to learn and operate, while the standard safety equipment adds to its appeal for shoppers who want a straightforward small SUV. It is especially compelling if you value room, comfort, and utility over sporty handling or flashy design. 39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Honda CR-V reliable?

The 2024 Honda CR-V leans into practicality, safety, and everyday ease of use, which supports its reputation as a sensible compact crossover. Honda’s standard safety equipment and simple, user-friendly cabin make it appealing if you want a vehicle that feels straightforward and well equipped. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about complexity and more about making sure the specific example you choose has been maintained well and shows no hidden issues.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda CR-V?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should confirm the vehicle history report, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch any signs of prior damage or deferred maintenance. Focus on overall condition, especially the interior, electronics, and how the vehicle drives, because a clean-looking listing can still hide wear that matters over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda CR-V?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,562 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.28% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,730, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $30,250 sits slightly below last year's $30,643.

That modest decline suggests the CR-V is holding value reasonably well, but not so tightly that you should expect a big premium when you sell. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you should be in a decent position when it is time to trade or sell. The current trend also means future buyers may continue to see this model as a practical, fairly priced used SUV rather than a hard-to-find one.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.28% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $28,553, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $30,250 average.
• The 2023 is a redesigned, roomy, and practical choice with updated infotainment and safety features.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2024 if you want the current-year market with decent deal availability and a strong clean-inventory share. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value path because it delivers many of the same core strengths at a lower average price.
