What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW X4?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the car’s actual condition and equipment. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing multiple examples at similar prices. Focus on wear, maintenance records, and any signs that the car has been driven harder than the mileage suggests.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW X4?

This is a moderate time to buy if you’re selective and willing to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 616 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.33% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,173, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW X4's resale value?

The current average of $45,173 sits slightly below last year's $47,714.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can help you buy with less pressure today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped. If you keep the vehicle clean and well documented, you’ll be in a better position to protect value when it’s time to sell.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW X4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.33% compared with last year.

The bottom line:
The 2024 is a sensible choice if you want current-year pricing that has already eased and you can find a well-kept example in the right color, mileage, and condition. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year with a lower average price may be worth comparing, but the 2024 gives you a balanced mix of inventory, deal availability, and cleaner listings.
