How much does the 2024 BMW 3 Series cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 2,072 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2024 BMW 3 Series a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 BMW 3 Series. It stands out because it blends performance, handling, and luxury in the way that made the name famous in the first place. You also get a four-door sedan with a broad range of versions, including the 330i, 330e plug-in hybrid, M340i, and M3, so you can tailor the car to your priorities. For shoppers who want a compact luxury sedan with precise handling, confident braking, and a premium feel, that combination is a strong fit. 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 BMW 3 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 3 Series is described as a car with solid safety tech at the base level, including frontal collision warning and city collision mitigation, and it benefits from recent updates to its cabin and technology. It also has a reputation for being complex and expensive to buy and maintain, so used buyers should think carefully about service history and ownership costs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW 3 Series?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then confirm that the specific car’s equipment and condition match the listing. Pay close attention to the cabin electronics, driver-assistance features, and overall maintenance records, since this model can be complex and expensive to own. If you are considering a 330e, check cargo space expectations carefully because the battery pack reduces trunk room.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW 3 Series?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting deep discounts everywhere.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,072 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $36,745, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW 3 Series's resale value?

The current average of $37,343 sits slightly above last year's $37,289.

That small increase suggests the market has stayed stable rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern can be helpful because it points to predictable demand and less risk of a sudden value drop. If you keep the car in strong condition and maintain it well, you are more likely to preserve its appeal when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW 3 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $34,372, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $37,343 average.
• It offers a refreshed cabin with updated tech and a quieter, more polished feel.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $40,727, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $37,343 average.
• It adds refinements and advanced tech while keeping the driving experience engaging.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want the current-year balance of price stability, strong satisfaction, and broad inventory. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the smarter value play; if you want the newest version and can stretch your budget, the 2025 is the upgrade path.
