Used 2023 Toyota Venza for Sale nearDallas, TX

How much does the 2023 Toyota Venza cost?

Prices are up 1.08% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 742 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Toyota Venza a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Toyota Venza earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.3/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 8/10.

The Venza fits you well if you want a stylish, fuel-efficient midsize SUV alternative with a luxury-leaning cabin. Its hybrid powertrain and upscale design are the main draws, while the trade-offs are not much cargo space and middling performance.

You should also note that 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2023 Toyota Venza reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Venza’s appeal is built around efficiency, comfort, and a refined feel, and the expert review reinforces that it delivers smooth, calm transportation. Its hybrid setup and easy-driving character support the idea that it should be a sensible daily driver for used buyers.

The maintenance and ownership experience is helped by the model’s straightforward hybrid packaging and the included service reminders and roadside-assistance-related connected features. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a neglected example could be more expensive to sort out than a simpler non-hybrid SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Toyota Venza?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper history review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the hybrid system, brakes, tires, and interior wear. Since cargo space is limited, make sure the vehicle’s condition matches how you plan to use it.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base LE trim has the smaller 8-inch touchscreen, while the XLE and Limited bring a larger 12.3-inch display and more upscale equipment. The base trim leaves out some of the nicer convenience and safety upgrades, so you should compare feature content carefully.
• Powertrain: The Venza uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid system with 219 horsepower, a CVT, and all-wheel drive. It is tuned for smooth, efficient driving rather than quick acceleration.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ is standard and includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure assist, lane-keep assist, automatic high beams, and a traffic sign reader. The XLE adds front and rear parking proximity sensors and reverse automatic emergency braking, while the Limited adds a surround-view camera, head-up display, and digital rearview mirror.
• Infotainment: The base LE gets an 8-inch touchscreen, while XLE and above get a 12.3-inch multimedia display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with a wireless charging pad and a new infotainment system with sharp graphics and quick responses.
• Fuel efficiency: It is estimated to return 40 mpg in the city, 37 mpg on the highway, and 39 mpg combined.

Which 2023 Toyota Venza trim should I buy?

The 2023 Toyota Venza is offered in 3 trim levels: LE, XLE, Limited.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Venza’s core strengths: the hybrid powertrain, standard all-wheel drive, wireless smartphone integration, and the standard safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model, but you give up the larger screen and some of the nicer comfort and convenience upgrades.
• XLE: This is the best-value trim. It adds the 12.3-inch touchscreen, roof rails, heated front seats, simulated leather upholstery, and extra safety equipment, making it the sweet spot for most shoppers.
• Limited: This is the most upscale version, with the surround-view camera, head-up display, digital rearview mirror, and standard JBL audio. It suits you if you want the most features and are willing to pay for them.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ is standard across the lineup, so even the base trim starts with a strong safety package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Toyota Venza?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 742 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.08% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 82.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,407, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Toyota Venza's resale value?

The current average of $32,859 sits slightly above last year's $32,506.

That modest increase suggests the Venza has held value reasonably well, which is a good sign if you plan to sell later. The year-over-year gain also points to steady demand rather than a sharp drop in interest.

Because the model combines strong fuel economy with a distinctive design, it should remain appealing to shoppers who want efficiency and style. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Toyota Venza safe?

The 2023 Toyota Venza earns five-star ratings in overall and side crash protection, and four-star ratings in frontal and rollover protection from NHTSA. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave it a Top Safety Pick rating, with Good scores across the board except for an Acceptable result in the new side impact test.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ is standard and includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure assist, lane-keep assist, automatic high beams, and a traffic sign reader. Higher trims add parking sensors, reverse automatic emergency braking, a surround-view camera, a head-up display, and a digital rearview mirror.

The main caveat is that the IIHS side impact result is not as strong as the rest of the Venza’s crash-test record, so that is worth keeping in mind if safety is your top priority.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Venza or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.08% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It stands out for sharp styling, a luxury-leaning interior, and class-leading fuel efficiency.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $28,795, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $32,859 average.
• It emphasizes efficiency and standard AWD.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of style, efficiency, and current-market availability, the 2023 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is the more budget-friendly path and still delivers the Venza’s core appeal.
