Used 2023 Toyota Tundra for Sale nearManchester, NH

How much does the 2023 Toyota Tundra cost?

Prices have softened 6.21% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,812 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and conditions.

Is the 2023 Toyota Tundra a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Toyota Tundra earns a 4.8/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Cost effectiveness and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its powerful engine, comfortable interior, smooth ride, stylish appearance, and fuel efficiency. That lines up well with the truck’s use case as a modern full-size pickup that blends capability with a more advanced, efficient approach than the older Tundra formula.

The main trade-offs are a potentially polarizing design and the fact that not all safety features are standard. Even so, the truck’s strong value proposition and broad appeal make it a compelling choice if you want a full-size pickup with a lot of equipment for the money.

Good and great deals account for 34.4% of listings, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Toyota Tundra reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as powerful, comfortable, smooth, and fuel-efficient, and they also point to a reputation for durability and value. The expert review also emphasizes a stout engine and a reliable platform, which reinforces the sense that this truck is built for long-term use.

ToyotaCare adds factory-scheduled maintenance and roadside assistance for two years or 25,000 miles at no additional cost, which helps reduce early ownership hassle.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about day-to-day dependability and more about making sure the specific truck has been maintained well and checked carefully for prior issues.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Toyota Tundra?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every truck you consider, even if the listing looks clean. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on higher-mileage examples or trucks that have been used for towing. Focus on condition, maintenance records, and whether the equipment you want is actually present on the trim you’re considering.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The SR and SR5 are the most basic versions, while higher trims add more comfort, technology, and luxury equipment. The SR5 can also get the SX appearance package, which adds dark gray metallic 18-inch wheels, body-color trim pieces, and black interior accents.
• Powertrain: You get a standard 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, and a hybrid version is available for more power. The truck’s 10-speed automatic helps deliver smooth, consistent performance.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, road-sign detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, lane-tracing assist, and a sway warning system. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available, but not standard across the lineup.
• Infotainment: An 8-inch touchscreen comes on the SR and SR5, while a 14-inch screen is available on the SR5 and standard above it. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and the system adds fast response and crisp graphics.
• Fuel efficiency: The truck was designed to improve efficiency over the old V8-era Tundra, and the hybrid powertrain is the stronger efficiency-oriented choice.

Which 2023 Toyota Tundra trim should I buy?

The 2023 Toyota Tundra is offered in 7 trim levels: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, TRD Pro, and Capstone.

Here's the short version:

• SR: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the redesigned Tundra and can live with the most basic equipment.
• SR5: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it opens the door to more equipment, including the available SX appearance package and the larger 14-inch touchscreen.
• Limited: This is a strong step up if you want more comfort and convenience, plus access to the hybrid powertrain and more premium tech.
• Platinum: This trim suits you if you want a more upscale truck with the hybrid powertrain standard and more premium features.
• 1794 Edition: Choose this if you want a more luxurious, distinctive Tundra with the hybrid powertrain standard.
• TRD Pro: This is the off-road-focused choice, with a lift, Fox shocks, all-terrain hardware, locking rear differential, crawl control, and downhill assist control.
• Capstone: This is the luxury flagship if you want the most upscale Tundra experience and don’t mind paying for it.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are not standard on every trim, so check equipment carefully before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Toyota Tundra?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,812 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.21% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $42,107, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Toyota Tundra's resale value?

The current average of $42,107 sits slightly below last year's $44,895.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more selectively now. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim desirability rather than broad market momentum alone.

Because the truck still has strong owner satisfaction and a reputation for value, well-kept examples should continue to attract interest. Higher-spec trims and trucks with desirable equipment are likely to hold up better than bare-bones versions.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Toyota Tundra safe?

The Toyota Tundra earns a Top Safety Pick+ from IIHS.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 comes standard and includes automatic emergency braking, road-sign detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, lane-tracing assist, and a sway warning system. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available, but they are not standard across the lineup.

The main safety caveat is that not all safety features are standard, so you should verify the exact equipment on the truck you’re considering.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Tundra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds an SX appearance package for the SR5 trim.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $38,022, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $42,107 average.
• It introduced the redesigned Tundra with multiple cab and trim choices.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $44,127, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $42,107 average.
• It adds a more personality-driven setup with stronger emphasis on capability and ride composure.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version of the redesigned Tundra without paying more for the next model year, the 2023 is the balanced choice. If price matters most, the 2022 is the value path; if you want to spend more for the newer-year alternative, the 2024 is the step up.
