Used 2023 Toyota Supra for Sale nearWashington, DC

Is the 2023 Toyota Supra a good car?

The 2023 Toyota Supra earns an 7.33/10 expert rating, and the standout strength is Performance at 9/10. The 2023 update matters because a manual transmission finally arrives, which makes the car more engaging for you if you want a sports car that feels involved rather than just fast. It also keeps the Supra’s balanced weight distribution and precise steering, so the driving experience remains the core appeal.

The trade-offs are real: advanced safety features are not standard, and the car can suffer from buffeting when the windows are open. Even so, if you want a driver-focused coupe with sharp handling and a strong enthusiast bent, this year’s Supra is especially compelling. Good and great deals account for 28.2% of listings, which gives you a useful snapshot of market availability.

Is the 2023 Toyota Supra reliable?

The 2023 Toyota Supra is presented as a sports car that still includes meaningful everyday support, including ToyotaCare with a 2-year, 25,000-mile complimentary maintenance plan and roadside assistance. Its performance setup is straightforward for the model year: the big change is the new manual transmission, while the rest of the powertrain lineup remains centered on the familiar turbocharged four-cylinder and six-cylinder engines.

The expert coverage also frames the car as a performance-first coupe rather than a complicated one, which generally helps keep ownership expectations clear. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about complexity and more about whether the car was driven and maintained like the enthusiast machine it is.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Toyota Supra?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any car you’re considering, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on signs of hard driving, since this is a performance coupe that may have been used aggressively. Pay close attention to overall condition, especially if you’re shopping for a manual car or one with higher mileage.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lower trims are more stripped down, while the 3.0 Premium and A91 add a more upscale cabin treatment and more equipment. The base 2.0 also uses a simpler audio setup and black interior materials, so you should expect fewer comfort and tech features there.
• Powertrain: The 2.0 uses a turbocharged four-cylinder with 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, while the 3.0 uses a turbocharged six-cylinder with 382 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque. The manual transmission is offered for 2023, but not with the 2.0.
• Safety package: Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with steering assist, stability control, traction control, and brake assist are standard. Adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear automatic emergency braking are available on the 3.0 Premium and A91.
• Infotainment: The 2.0 uses an 8.8-inch touchscreen with a four-speaker stereo, Bluetooth, USB inputs, and satellite radio. The 3.0 upgrades to a 10-speaker stereo, while the 3.0 Premium and A91 add a 12-speaker JBL system, navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, voice recognition, and a Qi-compatible wireless charging pad.
• Fuel efficiency: Automatic-equipped six-cylinder Supras are rated at 22 mpg city, 30 highway, 25 combined, while manual six-cylinder models are rated at 19/27/21.

Which 2023 Toyota Supra trim should I buy?

The 2023 Toyota Supra is offered in 4 trim levels: 2.0, 3.0, 3.0 Premium, A91.

Here’s the short version:

• 2.0: This is the entry point, but it’s the least compelling choice if you care about the Supra experience. You get the turbocharged four-cylinder and a simpler tech setup, but you miss the stronger six-cylinder character and the richer equipment that makes the car feel more special.
• 3.0: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers. It gives you the six-cylinder engine, the more satisfying 10-speaker stereo, and the core performance character that makes the Supra worth buying in the first place.
• 3.0 Premium: This is the trim to choose if you want the most balanced mix of performance and comfort. It adds the richer tech and convenience features, including navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, voice recognition, and the wireless charging pad.
• A91: This is the most special-feeling version, with the same upscale equipment set as the 3.0 Premium plus the top-end positioning in the lineup. If you want the most distinctive Supra experience, this is the one to target.

Blind-spot monitoring and the other extra driver-assistance features are available on the 3.0 Premium and A91, but they are not standard on every trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Toyota Supra?

This looks like a moderate, selective-buyer market, so you should shop carefully and compare listings rather than rushing.

• Deal availability: 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 110 listings available.
• Clean inventory: 85.5% of listings are accident-free.

Is the 2023 Toyota Supra safe?

The 2023 Toyota Supra earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with steering assist, stability control, traction control, and brake assist are standard on every Supra. If you move up to the 3.0 Premium or A91, you can also get adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear automatic emergency braking.

One important caveat is that blind-spot monitoring is not standard, even though the car’s small windows make it especially useful. That means you should pay close attention to the safety equipment on any used example you’re considering.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Supra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• The manual transmission finally arrives, making the Supra much more engaging for enthusiasts.

Consider the 2022 if:

• It offers the same core performance focus, but without the manual-transmission option.

The bottom line: If you want the most engaging version of this generation’s Supra, the 2023 model is the one to target because the manual changes the car’s personality in a meaningful way. If your priority is simply getting into a Supra for less money, the 2022 can still make sense, but you’ll be giving up the year’s biggest enthusiast upgrade.
