Used 2023 Toyota Sienna for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2023 Toyota Sienna cost?

Prices have softened 3.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,959 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Toyota Sienna earns a 4.1/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Cost effectiveness and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its fuel efficiency, spaciousness, and comfort, and many highlight the hybrid setup as a major advantage for family use. The Sienna also gets credit for being a practical, roomy choice that fits everyday family duty well.

The trade-offs are real, though: the transmission can be irritating, acceleration is sluggish, and some owners mention engine noise and mixed tech experiences. In context, that means you’re looking at a minivan that prioritizes efficiency, space, and safety over quick responses or a polished driving feel.

Good and great deals account for 36.8% of listings, which is a decent sign that the market has some room for negotiation.

Is the 2023 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 4.1/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many people find dependable, with strong satisfaction around fuel efficiency, comfort, and family-friendly usability. That kind of repeat praise matters when you’re evaluating a used minivan for long-term ownership.

The expert evaluation also describes the Sienna’s technology as reliable, even if the interface itself feels dated and a bit clunky. Toyota’s hybrid setup is a major part of the Sienna’s identity, and that can be a plus for buyers who want a proven, efficiency-focused powertrain.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the core mission and more about whether the specific vehicle has been maintained well and used gently.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Toyota Sienna?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because accident-free status is only a starting point. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on the transmission behavior, interior condition, and how well the tech and safety systems work in real-world use. Since this is a family vehicle, pay close attention to seat condition, sliding-door operation, and signs of heavy wear.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, Platinum, and 25th Anniversary Special Edition each bring different equipment levels, and the base trim is the most stripped-down. The XLE stands out as the value-oriented choice because it adds standard LED fog lights, standard power-sliding doors, and a standard power liftgate.
• Powertrain: Every model uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid setup with two front-mounted electric motors, plus a third rear-mounted electric motor on AWD trims. The powertrain makes 245 net system horsepower, and the efficiency focus is a core part of the Sienna’s appeal.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense-style driver assistance is standard, including automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with steering assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control. The standard safety coverage is a major strength across the lineup.
• Infotainment: The Sienna uses a 9-inch touchscreen with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, an optional navigation system, and seven USB ports. Wireless smartphone integration is not part of the setup, so you should expect a wired connection.
• Fuel efficiency: The Sienna is rated at 35 mpg city, 36 highway, and 35 combined with AWD, while FWD versions return 36 mpg across the board.

Which 2023 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2023 Toyota Sienna is offered in 6 trim levels: LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, Platinum, and 25th Anniversary Special Edition.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the Sienna lineup and can live without the extra convenience features found higher up.
• XLE: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds standard LED fog lights, power-sliding doors, and a power liftgate.
• XSE: Choose this if you want a sportier look and feel, especially since the front-wheel-drive version gets 20-inch wheels.
• Limited: This is the upscale comfort step if you want a more premium-feeling cabin without going all the way to the top trim.
• 25th Anniversary Special Edition: This is the commemorative choice, positioned just below Limited in price.
• Platinum: This is the top-end pick for shoppers who want the most upscale presentation, including the 20-inch wheels on the front-wheel-drive version and the highest trim experience.

The standard safety package is a strong selling point across the lineup, so even lower trims give you a solid safety foundation.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Toyota Sienna?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,959 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.64% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 84.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,119, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $40,119 sits slightly below last year's $41,633.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also suggests the model has already absorbed some of its recent market cooling. If you plan to sell later, the current trend implies you may not see rapid appreciation, so condition and mileage will matter a lot.

The Sienna’s efficiency-focused reputation and strong family appeal should help support demand over time, especially among shoppers who prioritize practicality and fuel savings. Well-kept examples are likely to remain attractive because they fit a clear use case that many buyers still want.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.1/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Toyota Sienna safe?

The 2023 Toyota Sienna earns five-star ratings from NHTSA and a Top Safety Pick+ designation from IIHS on the mechanically identical 2022 model.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver assistance includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with steering assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control. That’s a strong standard safety suite for a family vehicle, and it helps the Sienna stand out even before you move up the trim ladder.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.1/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It combines hybrid efficiency with standard safety features and family-friendly practicality.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $35,993, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $40,119 average.
• It keeps the redesigned hybrid formula and adds a Woodland trim for a more adventurous look.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $43,381, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $40,119 average.
• It keeps the hybrid formula, adds optional AWD, and leans into a more distinctive exterior.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of efficiency, safety, and current-market pricing, the 2023 is the strongest all-around pick. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2022 can deliver much of the same core appeal for less money.
