How much does the 2023 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 6,152 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Generally — the 4.33/5 user rating points to a well-liked compact car that fits buyers who want broad appeal and everyday practicality. The 2023 Corolla stands out for its wider model range, sharp styling, and added desirability, while still staying true to its long-running role as a sensible, easy-to-live-with compact car. If you want a practical car with more personality than earlier Corolla generations, this model year fits that use case well. 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 4.33/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Corolla is described as well-engineered and built to last, and its reputation is reinforced by strong dependability results. It still leans more toward competence than excitement, but that usually works in your favor if you want a car that should be easy to live with over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about character and more about making sure the specific car you choose has been maintained and preserved properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Toyota Corolla?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm the car’s accident and title background, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if the listing looks especially appealing. Focus on overall condition, since a clean-looking Corolla can still hide wear from heavy commuting or inconsistent maintenance. Pay close attention to how the car presents inside and out, because condition is a major clue to how carefully the previous owner treated it.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Toyota Corolla?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,152 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 79.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,159, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $20,397 sits slightly above last year's $20,386.

That small increase suggests the Corolla is holding value rather than sliding, which is a good sign if you plan to sell later. Stable pricing also tells you the market sees this model year as a dependable, mainstream choice rather than a bargain-bin option. Because demand remains broad and the car has a strong reputation for practicality, you should expect resale interest to stay fairly steady if your car is in good condition.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $18,541, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $20,397 average.
• It offers familiar versatility with multiple body styles and powertrain choices.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of pricing, inventory, and appeal, the 2023 is the better primary target. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the smarter secondary path, especially if you find one in strong condition with a clean history.
