How much does the 2023 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 6,121 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2023 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Toyota Corolla earns a 4.33/5 user rating, which fits its role as a practical compact car with broad appeal. The overview points to a sharper design, more style than earlier Corolla models, and a wider lineup that includes sedan and hatchback body styles, plus hybrid and GR Corolla variants. It also emphasizes everyday ease, strong equipment, and a car that is easy to live with rather than exciting. With 37.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2023 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 4.33/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes the Corolla as well engineered and built to last, with strong dependability results reinforcing that reputation. It also frames the car as sensible and easy to live with, which is exactly the kind of profile many used buyers want when they plan to keep a car for years.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about drama and more about finding a well-kept example that has been maintained consistently.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Toyota Corolla?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm the car’s accident and title background, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if the listing has incomplete service records. Focus on overall condition, especially signs of wear that could suggest harder use than the mileage alone implies.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Toyota Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,121 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 78.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,156, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $20,296 sits slightly above last year's $20,247.

That small increase suggests the Corolla is holding value rather than sliding, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. A stable price trend usually means the market still sees this model year as relevant and desirable, especially when inventory remains active. For you, that can translate into a more predictable resale path if you keep the car in good condition and maintain service records.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $18,544, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $20,296 average.
• It keeps the Corolla formula familiar, with broad configuration choices and a practical, dependable focus.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger all-around market position, the 2023 is the better primary pick because it combines steady pricing, decent deal availability, and a well-rounded ownership profile. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in clean condition with a solid history.
