How much does the 2023 Kia Stinger cost?

Is the 2023 Kia Stinger a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Kia Stinger earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which supports its appeal as a sporty, premium-leaning liftback with rear-wheel-drive performance and upscale features. The overview points to a car that was designed to challenge German performance sedans while still delivering strong value, and the final-model-year refresh adds a standard 10.25-inch infotainment screen, revised lighting, updated wheels, and more standard safety equipment. If you want a stylish, fun-to-drive used car with a premium feel, this model year fits that brief well. 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2023 Kia Stinger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also points to a stronger safety reputation, including a five-star NHTSA rating from the 2020 model year and Good IIHS scores across the board. Even so, you should verify recall work carefully, especially because the V6-related turbocharger oil feed line issue affects every model year. For used buyers, that means reliability can be a strong point, but documented maintenance and recall completion matter for reducing long-term ownership risk.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Kia Stinger?

At 72.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any accident damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on bodywork quality, panel alignment, and signs of incomplete repairs, since condition can vary meaningfully across listings. It’s also smart to verify recall completion and check that the car’s equipment matches the trim and options you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Kia Stinger?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find decent value.

• Deal availability: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 369 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.19% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 72.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $32,001, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Kia Stinger's resale value?

The current average of $32,746 sits slightly below last year's $33,824.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and documentation than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples should still attract interest because the model’s sporty, premium-leaning character remains distinctive in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Kia Stinger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 72.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.19% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $28,454, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $32,746 average.
• It offers a refreshed performance-sedan feel with more power, updated design touches, and technology features.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2023 if you want the final-year version with updated equipment and a still-reasonable market price. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better value play and still delivers the core Stinger experience.
