Why it stands out
The 2023 Chevrolet Camaro stands out as a compact, rear-wheel-drive performance car that still offers coupe and convertible body styles, a choice of manual or automatic transmissions, and a range of engines that includes a turbocharged four-cylinder, a V6, and a Corvette-sourced V8. By this point in the sixth generation, Chevrolet had already given the Camaro a lighter, smaller, tauter, and more efficient platform than the previous version, and the car’s appeal still rested on its strong driving dynamics and broad performance range. For buyers who want a muscle car with real everyday usability, that combination of retro style and modern engineering is a major part of the Camaro’s identity.
For 2023, Chevrolet made no changes to the Camaro. That means the car carried forward the features that had already made the sixth generation appealing, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity, with later models in the generation also adding a built-in wi-fi hotspot. The Camaro also remained available in a wide spread of trims and performance levels, from more accessible versions to the high-performance ZL1, which had returned to the lineup in 2017 with 650 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds. At the same time, the Camaro’s drawbacks were still familiar: its interior was described as cheaply outfitted, and rear visibility was poor, which is especially worth considering if you plan to use it as a daily driver.

I just got a used 2018 Camaro at just over 100,000 miles that I found locally from CarGurus website, and it literally changed my life. Ive never owned a real sports car before, and the Camaro is something that has to be directly experienced to really understand how great it is. It handles as smooth as glass, and the 335 hp V6 has far more than enough power for anyone looking to add a hell of a lot of fun into their daily commute. The interior is incredible, and it feels like being in the cockpit of a stealth fighter jet while driving. The styling of this car, the 2018 LT1 with the RS package, is literally world class and it beats at least 98 percent of what I see on the road every day in looks alone. The only noticeable and infamous downside to this car is the lack of visibility to the rear and side blind spots, but if you are a careful driver youll get used to it quickly and you can compensate with more attentive driving. I cannot recommend this car enough if you want an affordable sports car with great handling that will turn heads. Dont miss out!

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Camaro a good car?
Yes — the 2023 Chevrolet Camaro earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its performance, handling, and value, and many also like the features and the available V8 power. For you, that means this model fits especially well if you want a rear-wheel-drive performance car with coupe or convertible body styles and everyday usability. With 30.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.
Is the 2023 Chevrolet Camaro reliable?
Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The user feedback also points to a car that many owners find dependable and trouble-free in day-to-day use, with enthusiasm centered on the overall ownership experience. That kind of response suggests the Camaro can be a solid long-term choice if you buy a well-kept example and stay on top of maintenance. For used buyers, the main risk is less about the model’s appeal and more about finding one that has been cared for properly.
What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chevrolet Camaro?
Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and confirm there are no hidden accident or title issues. Focus on overall condition, because a performance car like this can vary a lot from one example to the next.

The current pricing also shows that demand remains healthy enough to keep values from softening too much. If you maintain the car well and keep the history clean, you should be in a better position when it comes time to trade or sell.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Camaro or consider a different year?
