How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Camaro cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 1,417 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Camaro a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chevrolet Camaro earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its great performance, sleek design, and impressive power, and many also appreciate the available Apple CarPlay for making the driving experience feel more modern and convenient. That fits especially well if you want a compact, rear-wheel-drive performance car with coupe or convertible body styles and a clear enthusiast focus. With 32.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Camaro reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as dependable in the ways that matter most to them, especially when it comes to performance they can count on and an ownership experience that feels trouble-free enough to recommend. The feedback also suggests the Camaro’s appeal holds up over time for buyers who want a car they can enjoy for the long term.

For used buyers, that means the bigger risk is less about the model’s core appeal and more about finding one that has been maintained well and hasn’t been worn down by hard use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Camaro?

At 74.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with accident records. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, paint, and alignment, since condition matters a lot on a performance car that may have been driven hard. It also makes sense to focus on signs of wear inside the cabin and around the drivetrain so you can judge whether the car has been cared for consistently.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Camaro?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,417 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 74.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $37,055, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Camaro's resale value?

The current average of $40,017 sits slightly above last year's $39,744.

That small increase suggests the Camaro has held its value fairly well in the near term, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. Stable pricing also helps reduce the risk of a sharp drop in value after purchase, especially when demand stays consistent among shoppers looking for a performance-focused coupe or convertible.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Camaro or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $33,496, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $40,017 average.
• It offers a more emotional, style-first Camaro experience with strong performance appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market picture and are comfortable paying more for a newer used example, the 2022 is the better starting point. If your priority is saving money and you still want Camaro character, the 2021 is the more budget-friendly path.
