Is the 2023 Audi S4 a good car?

The 2023 Audi S4 stands out as a compact luxury sport sedan that blends strong performance with everyday usability. It appeals to you if you want quick acceleration without giving up refinement, and it also brings a tech-heavy cabin with Google navigation, Virtual Cockpit, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, low-speed forward-collision warning, and emergency braking.

The trade-offs are clear: it is not as athletic a handler as some rivals, and it is not the most exciting vehicle in its class. Even so, it remains a well-rounded choice if you want a fast, comfortable, and well-equipped performance sedan. 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Audi S4 reliable?

The 2023 Audi S4 is presented as a well-rounded performance sedan with strong everyday usability, smooth road manners, and a cabin built around useful technology. It also benefits from standard all-wheel drive and a setup aimed at balancing speed with comfort.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a performance luxury sedan can become more expensive to maintain if prior care was inconsistent, so service history matters.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Audi S4?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, and any missing equipment. Focus on condition details that matter on a performance luxury sedan, especially maintenance records, tire and brake wear, and whether the car has the features you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Audi S4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 122 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.08% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 82.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,892, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Audi S4's resale value?

The current average of $40,892 sits slightly below last year's $45,478.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently today. If you plan to sell later, the current trend means your resale outcome will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and how well the car is documented. A clean history and strong maintenance records should matter more if you want to protect value.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi S4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.08% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2023 is a strong choice if you want a fast, comfortable, and well-equipped luxury sport sedan with a softer market price.
