The 2022 Ram 2500 gets a new Uconnect 5 infotainment system that offers over-the-air (OTA) software updates, a more refined interface, and more. Ram added a new Silver Edition package for select trims and upgraded the Power Wagon with a new options package. Pricing starts at just shy of $43,000 and ranges to more than $70,000. Like almost all new pickup truck models, the Ram 2500 can be upgraded and optioned in several ways, all of which drive the starting price northward. The Ram 2500 comes standard with a 6.0-liter V8 making 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. Most trims are also offered with a 6.7-liter diesel inline-six that produces 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque. Ram offers an upgraded version of the same engine in the 3500 pickup that delivers 1,075 pound-feet of torque. The gas engine comes paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the diesel mill comes with a six-speed automatic. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) and four-wheel drive (4WD) are both available.
