Responded quickly but didn't have the truck

I made contact around 1:20pm on 08/26 to check on 2009 Chrysler Town and Country. And I received a call back by Aspen and I made appointment to go to there showroom she told me the car is available and will be waiting for me. Then after I drove 51 miles and reached there she appointed me with another guy and he start asking me what part of the car I liked. He said "is it the price"? "is it the color"? And I told him I want to see the car. Then he said "The car is sold". I couldn't believe after I drove all that way and wasted my time, to be told the car is sold. He tried to offer me but those cars price are not in my range. I am very disappointed. Plus Aspen didn't showup at least to explain or apologize.

You won't do better with a used car experience than Shottenkirk. From the start, my contact with the dealer through CarGurus was responded to quickly, but politely by Austin. She confirmed the truck was still on the lot, and they could hold it for me before I made the 2h drive to look at it. She met me in person when I arrived (no out-sourcing!) and introduced me to Brett. Let me tell you, Brett Hixson knows the inventory so well! That's something you won't find MOST places. You walk in and want to look at a car/truck, and they mumble about it, and on the test drive don't seem to know anything much. He knew this specific truck, knew its history, basically did his homework. I was impressed! Then he worked hard for me all afternoon to get the value on my trade-in that I felt was fair, and I walked out with a superior truck for a very fair price and felt like I was valued and respected all the way through. Donovan in finance was awesome as well, fully explaining every detail, option, etc. Of course, I bought the truck. In the end, I felt like I really wanted to give them my business even if it wasn't this truck. But everything came together, I got my truck and they got my business! I've been a Toyota man for a long time, but who knows? These folks may have me buying a Ram next time! Great experience, great people!

They contacted me as soon as I requested information. They sent a video and carfax the same day. I was not able to come in before it sold but they called and told me it had sold so I did not make a trip looking for that vehicle and offered to help find another vehicle.

Did everything right. Easy to communicate with. Very accommodating.

Enjoyed working with these guys. Took a little back and forth but we got a great deal.

Asked for best price, was given the run around for a few emails, Just gave up on them.

This was very horrible. I traveled 80 miles to check out a car that was portrailed to be in good working and selling conditions but only to find out on arrival, it was a wrecked car, damages all around the car. That was not supposed to be advertised to be sold in that condition. If it was advertised as wrecked car and I still decided to go that distance to check it out, then I would have accepted it but never said at Carguru website that there was any damages. Henceforth, I will never waste my time in getting involved in any advertised vehicle without pictures.. Indeed, this was a very sad experience.

I had a very good experience with the folks from Shottenkirk Chrysler. Very good customer service. Both Bill Bostic and Derrell Stephens were great to work with as were the guys in the Finance Dept. At the time of my purchase, they were extremely busy, but managed to multi task pretty well I would say. Never left me hanging, answered all my questions etc. I hope I have equally good service when I have to take my car in for service. I recommend the drive to Shottenkirk Chrysler if you are looking for a new or used car.

Since I am a young, first time car buyer, the man treated me like a kid and told me "I'm not going to make it" right after I told him my age and we didn't even sit down to do paperwork yet. Not helpful at all and completely rude.

Management made a deal with me for trade in on my Jeep and a do able price on the truck, 2 hours later, after I called the sales man 3 times, I got a call back from management simply stating that he just could not make the deal work. In my eyes, he was not making enough money because I was giving him $1000 over NADA retail. I now see that the truck is listed $1000 more than it was when I was there. I saw this truck before it had been detailed and you could tell that it had been off road quite a bit. There where cakes of mud underneath, the truck bed is badly dinged up and had a ton of trash, mud and pine straw built up. This is a rough trade in that they are demanding Clean retail.

No one would help me because I was in my work truck And not my corvette every person should be treated the same.
