Used 2022 MINI Countryman for Sale nearLos Angeles, CA

How much does the 2022 MINI Countryman cost?

Prices have softened 3.49% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 263 listings available, which gives you a modest pool of options to compare.

Is the 2022 MINI Countryman a good car?

Yes — the 2022 MINI Countryman earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview shows a small SUV that blends MINI’s retro personality with practical rear-seat and cargo space, while still keeping the sporty character that defines the model. If you want something more playful and customizable than a conventional compact SUV, this model year fits that use case well, though it also comes with a firmer ride and less cargo room than some rivals. The market shows 32.3% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 MINI Countryman reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests a vehicle that stays true to its second-generation formula: distinctive styling, useful cabin space, and a premium-feeling personality. At the same time, you should keep in mind that the base engines are described as weak and the ride can be firm, so long-term ownership satisfaction may depend on whether those tradeoffs match your expectations. For used buyers, that means the biggest risk is not just mechanical condition, but whether the car’s character and compromises still suit your daily driving needs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 MINI Countryman?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with the history report to confirm accident status, title status, and maintenance patterns before you get too far into the process. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the ride quality, interior condition, and any signs that the car has been used hard, since this model’s firmer suspension and premium features make condition especially important. Focus on whether the vehicle feels consistent with the Countryman’s sporty, quirky personality rather than just checking mileage alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 MINI Countryman?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 263 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.49% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,869, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 MINI Countryman's resale value?

The current average of $21,285 sits slightly below last year's $22,054.

That price movement suggests the model has softened a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained than on broad market momentum alone. If you keep the vehicle clean, well-documented, and in strong mechanical shape, you give yourself a better chance of standing out when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 MINI Countryman or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 is a strong choice if you want the Countryman’s retro style, practical cabin, and distinctive personality at a price that has eased from last year. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years and focus on the cleanest, best-priced example rather than chasing a specific badge year.
