Used 2022 Lincoln Navigator for Sale near Wisconsin

How much does the 2022 Lincoln Navigator cost?

Prices have softened 15.41% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,087 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2022 Lincoln Navigator a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Lincoln Navigator earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.17/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

The Navigator is positioned as a full-size luxury SUV with classically elegant styling, robust towing capacity, and soothing comfort in all three rows of seats. Those strengths make it a strong fit if you want a large upscale SUV that emphasizes comfort and capability.

The trade-offs are clear: the grille design may not appeal to you, the interior chrome is considered excessive, and the voice recognition system needs fine-tuning. Even so, the 2022 refresh is described as having revived the aging SUV and kept it competitive against newer rivals.

35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Lincoln Navigator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 Navigator is presented as a refined, well-updated full-size luxury SUV, and the expert evaluation highlights strong comfort, robust capability, and improved driving dynamics. Its twin-turbo V6 delivers 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque, and the updated suspension and brake hardware help the SUV feel more composed than before.

The tech and performance notes also point to a vehicle that is built to handle daily use and long trips with confidence. Lincoln’s over-the-air update capability suggests the SUV can continue improving after purchase, and the maintenance perk adds a little ownership convenience.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a large luxury SUV can be expensive to keep in top shape, so condition and service history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Lincoln Navigator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any Navigator you’re considering, even if the listing looks clean. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the suspension, brakes, electronics, and interior wear, since this is a high-feature luxury SUV. Focus especially on how well the cabin equipment, driver-assistance tech, and infotainment system work in real-world use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Standard, Reserve, and Black Label are the trims explicitly identified for this model year. The base setup already includes a 20-inch wheel design, but the higher trims are where you’ll want to look if you care most about richer materials and more upscale presentation.
• Powertrain: The Navigator uses a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with a 10-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. It delivers 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque, with towing capacity ranging from 8,100 pounds to 8,700 pounds depending on configuration.
• Safety package: Lincoln adds Intersection Assist, Road Edge Detection, Active Park Assist 2.0, ActiveGlide, and a surround-view camera system. ActiveGlide is the hands-free highway system, while the other features help with braking, lane-edge awareness, and parking.
• Infotainment: The Navigator gets a 13.2-inch touchscreen with Sync 4, wireless smartphone support through Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and over-the-air update capability. The system also supports dual data panels and rear-seat entertainment with Amazon Fire TV.
• Fuel efficiency: The Navigator 4WD should return 18 mpg in combined driving, and the test vehicle averaged 18.6 mpg on the route described.

Which 2022 Lincoln Navigator trim should I buy?

The 2022 Lincoln Navigator is offered in 3 trim levels: Standard, Reserve, and Black Label.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point, and it already gives you the Navigator’s core strengths: the twin-turbo V6, the large new touchscreen, and the full-size luxury-SUV experience. If you want the lowest-cost way into the model, this is the trim to start with.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim if you want a more upscale feel without jumping all the way to the top. It should be the trim to focus on if you want a stronger balance of luxury and equipment.
• Black Label: This is the most indulgent version, and the review’s test vehicle shows how far the Navigator can be pushed with a premium theme, richer presentation, and high-end cabin appointments. Choose this if you want the most luxurious Navigator experience.

The safety package includes Intersection Assist, Road Edge Detection, Active Park Assist 2.0, ActiveGlide, and a surround-view camera system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Lincoln Navigator?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market if you’re willing to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,087 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.41% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $47,693, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The current average of $47,693 sits slightly below last year's $56,380.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can make the Navigator easier to purchase now than it was a year ago. For a future seller, the current pricing trend means you may need to be realistic about what the market will bear if you plan to resell soon.

The good news is that the Navigator still has strong appeal as a flagship luxury SUV with high comfort and capability. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Lincoln Navigator safe?

The 2022 Lincoln Navigator earns a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Lincoln equips the Navigator with Intersection Assist, Road Edge Detection, Active Park Assist 2.0, ActiveGlide, and a surround-view camera system. Intersection Assist can automatically brake in unsafe crossing situations, Road Edge Detection can help steer away from the edge of the pavement, Active Park Assist 2.0 can handle parallel and perpendicular parking, and ActiveGlide provides hands-free driving on approved highways.

ActiveGlide is limited to approved roads and requires your attention at all times, so it is helpful rather than fully autonomous. That means the Navigator brings a strong safety toolkit, but you still need to stay engaged behind the wheel.

Should I buy a 2022 Lincoln Navigator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The refresh adds updated styling, a larger touchscreen, and new driver-assistance tech.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $37,530, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $47,693 average.
• It offers a quieter, more apartment-like luxury feel.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $54,968, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $47,693 average.
• It emphasizes spaciousness and towing, but fuel economy remains a weak point.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of updated tech, comfort, and market pricing, the 2022 is the smart default. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value play. If you want to spend more for a newer model-year alternative, the 2023 is there, but it asks for a higher budget.
