Used 2022 Hyundai Venue for Sale nearCleveland, OH

How much does the 2022 Hyundai Venue cost?

Prices have softened 6.54% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 661 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Venue a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Hyundai Venue earns a 5/5 user rating, and its overview points to a subcompact SUV that prioritizes easy parking, city-friendly size, and strong value for the money. It is front-wheel-drive only, but it still offers a standard 8-inch infotainment screen, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Hyundai’s SmartSense safety suite, which helps it feel well equipped for the price. For you, that makes it a sensible pick if you want an affordable, easy-to-live-with SUV with good fuel economy and a straightforward feature set. 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2022 Hyundai Venue reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also points to a simple formula: a small front-wheel-drive SUV with a modest engine, standard safety tech, and no hybrid or all-wheel-drive complexity. That kind of setup can be appealing if you want fewer moving parts and a vehicle that is easy to understand and live with. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the Venue’s budget-focused design comes with clear compromises in performance, cargo space, and cabin refinement.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Hyundai Venue?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a careful inspection of the body, interior, and electronics so you can confirm the car matches its advertised condition. Because the Venue is a value-oriented model, condition matters a lot: look closely for signs of prior damage, wear, or neglected maintenance. If possible, test the infotainment system, safety features, and general drivability so you know the car still feels as complete as its equipment list suggests.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Hyundai Venue?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 661 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.54% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 77.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,050, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Hyundai Venue's resale value?

The current average of $16,050 sits slightly below last year's $17,174.

That price movement suggests the Venue has softened enough to be attractive to used buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price carefully to stay competitive. If you buy at the right number and keep the car in clean condition, you can help protect your exit value later. The model’s value-focused reputation should continue to support demand among shoppers who want an affordable small SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Hyundai Venue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $14,179, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $16,050 average.
• It offers a compact, value-focused crossover shape with straightforward features.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and satisfaction. If your top priority is spending less up front, the 2021 is the better price-sensitive alternative, especially if you find one in clean condition.
