Also standard are blind-spot monitoring and automatic high-beams. The only optional feature is rain-sensing wipers, which come with the Touring trim. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave the Insight good crash-safety marks, while the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) a Top Safety Pick+ award for 2021—the agency’s highest rating.
