How much does the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E cost?

Prices have softened 5.81% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,783 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful number of options to compare.

Is the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E a good car?

Generally — the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E earns a 4.3/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its outstanding performance, smooth driving experience, and stylish design, and many also like the tech features and extensive charging network. For you, that makes it a compelling choice if you want an electric SUV that blends everyday practicality with a more engaging driving feel. With 39.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities.

Is the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback highlights a dependable-feeling driving experience, and many drivers describe the vehicle as enjoyable over time thanks to its smooth performance and useful technology. The strongest long-term ownership concern is that early model years were affected by recalls and battery-related issues, so used buyers should pay close attention to service history and recall completion.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then confirm whether any recalls or battery-related repairs were completed. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on overall condition, charging behavior, and any signs of prior damage or unresolved electrical issues. Because this model year has known battery-junction-box concerns on some extended-range versions, condition and documentation matter more than usual.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value.

• Deal availability: 39.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,783 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.81% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,174, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E's resale value?

The current average of $25,628 sits slightly below last year's $27,209.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, condition, mileage, and documentation will matter a lot in protecting value. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it’s time to move on.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 39.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $22,759, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $25,628 average.
• It emphasizes sporty style and broad configuration choice.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $29,845, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $25,628 average.
• It adds enhanced BlueCruise and more range-focused updates.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around pick if you want a balanced mix of price, owner satisfaction, and market availability. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2021 can be the smarter value play, while the 2023 makes sense if you want the newer updates and can stretch your budget.
