Used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette for Sale nearAurora, IL

How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette cost?

Prices have softened 4.67% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

With 1,981 listings available, you have a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 4.8/5, and the expert rating is 8.2/10. The model scores 9/10 across Performance, Cost effectiveness, and Technology.

Owners consistently praise the Corvette’s stunning looks, impressive performance, comfortable ride, and strong value for money. The mid-engine layout also comes through as a recurring strength, especially for handling and overall driving enjoyment.

The main trade-offs are that it may not feel as quick as some rival high-performance cars in certain situations, and the car’s sports-car focus means practicality is limited. It fits best if you want sharp styling, strong driving enjoyment, and easy-to-use technology in a two-seat package.

With 34.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s enough market flexibility to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable, with praise centered on the way it delivers performance without sacrificing comfort. Reviewers also describe it as a car you can count on for an engaging driving experience and strong overall satisfaction over time.

The expert evaluation also emphasizes that the Corvette feels easy to get the most out of, which supports confidence in everyday use. Chevy’s three-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty add some ownership reassurance for used buyers.

For a used buyer, the biggest long-term risk is that sports-car wear and maintenance costs can rise faster than they would on a mainstream car.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a car that may have been driven hard or modified. Focus on tire wear, brake condition, curb rash, and signs of track use or cosmetic repairs. If you’re shopping a higher-trim or optioned car, make sure the equipment actually matches the listing photos and description.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base 1LT gives you the Corvette experience, but it skips navigation and the available blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert features. The 2LT and 3LT add more convenience and luxury content, and the 2LT is the best-value choice if you want a richer feature set without going all the way to the top trim.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a 6.2-liter V8 with 490 hp and 465 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The optional performance exhaust raises output to 495 hp and 470 lb-ft.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are the key driver-assistance features, and they are not available on the base 1LT trim.
• Infotainment: You get an 8-inch touchscreen, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM, and a built-in WiFi hotspot. Navigation is standard on all trim levels except the base 1LT.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA fuel economy is 19 mpg combined, 16 mpg city, and 24 mpg highway.

Which 2022 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2022 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the entry point, but it leaves out navigation and the available blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert features. Buy it only if you want the lowest starting price and can live with the leanest equipment list.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim because it adds more comfort and convenience while staying below the top trim’s pricing. It’s the sweet spot for most shoppers who want the Corvette’s core performance with a more complete feature set.
• 3LT: Choose this if you want the most upscale Corvette Stingray experience and are willing to pay for it. It’s the right pick when you want the fullest equipment list rather than the best value.

The safety features are not available on the base 1LT trim, so if those matter to you, start at 2LT or higher.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Corvette?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,981 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.67% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $67,091, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $67,091 sits slightly below last year's $70,376.

That softer pricing suggests the Corvette has already moved through some of its recent depreciation, which can help future sellers if demand stays steady. A used buyer today may benefit from that cooling trend, but a seller should still expect pricing to depend heavily on trim, condition, and options.

Because the Corvette remains a desirable sports car with strong enthusiast appeal, well-kept examples should continue to attract attention. Cars with the right equipment and clean history are likely to hold value better than neglected or heavily modified ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

The Corvette is light on driver-assist tech, with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert as the main notable features. Those systems are helpful given the car’s limited rear visibility, but they are not available on the base 1LT trim level.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The main safety caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you should not assume a fully loaded safety suite unless you verify the trim and options. That makes trim selection especially important if safety tech matters to you.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 adds minor updates, including a limited-edition IMSA GTLM package and new exterior colors.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $63,661, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $67,091 average.
• It offers strong value with a stylish, fun-to-drive character.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $76,587, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $67,091 average.
• It leans harder into the Corvette’s supercar-like mid-engine identity.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and current-market availability, the 2022 is the smart default. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2021 is the cheaper path into the same basic formula. If you want to spend more for a newer-year step up, the 2023 is the move.
