Used 2021 Toyota Supra for Sale nearSilver Spring, MD

How much does the 2021 Toyota Supra cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year. With 239 listings available, you have a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2021 Toyota Supra a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Toyota Supra earns a 5/5 user rating, and our experts give it 7.5/10 overall. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Drivers consistently praise the Supra’s sporty performance, fast acceleration, and eye-catching design. The car also stands out for its uncommon styling and strong handling, which help it feel special and memorable. On the downside, some owners note limited interior space and missing features in base models.

The expert review backs up that appeal with a sharp driving character and a distinctive two-seat sports-car setup. The main trade-offs are a poor ride quality and poor visibility, so you should expect a focused sports-car experience rather than everyday comfort.

The model’s 33.5% good-or-great deal share suggests there are still worthwhile listings to find if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 Toyota Supra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The owner feedback also points to a car that feels dependable and trouble-free in the ways that matter most to sports-car buyers, with enthusiasm centered on the driving experience and overall ownership enjoyment.

The expert review reinforces that impression by describing the Supra as a well-sorted, confidence-inspiring sports coupe with strong mechanical execution. Toyota also includes a broad set of standard safety aids, and the Safety and Technology Package adds more convenience and protection features.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about choosing a well-kept example with the right equipment and condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Toyota Supra?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 77% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check every listing carefully, because a sports car like this can hide hard use even when it looks clean on paper. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, confirm the service history, and pay close attention to tire wear, brake condition, and any signs of cosmetic or curb damage. If you want the best ownership experience, focus on the trim and equipment mix that matches how you plan to use the car.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base car gives you the core Supra look and feel, while the 3.0 Premium adds full leather and a more upscale cabin. The base model is the one where you most clearly feel the feature gap, especially if you want a richer interior.
• Powertrain: The 2.0 uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four with 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, while the 3.0 uses a turbocharged inline-six with 382 hp and 368 lb-ft. Both pair with rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, auto high beams, and knee airbags for both driver and passenger. Blind-spot monitoring, rear emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control are included in the Safety and Technology Package.
• Infotainment: All 2021 Supra coupes have an 8.8-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay is included with the Safety and Technology Package, along with navigation, a 12-speaker JBL stereo, and four years of smartphone access.
• Fuel efficiency: The 2.0 averaged 28 mpg in testing and matches its combined rating, while the 3.0 is rated 22/30/25.

Which 2021 Toyota Supra trim should I buy?

The 2021 Toyota Supra is offered in 2 trim levels: 2.0 and 3.0.

Here's the short version:

• 2.0: This is the more affordable way into the Supra lineup, and it still delivers strong acceleration, sharp handling, and the same standout styling. It’s the best-value choice if you want the Supra experience without paying for the more powerful engine.
• 3.0: This is the one to choose if you want the full performance payoff. It brings the stronger inline-six, more power, and a more complete sports-car feel, making it the better pick if performance matters most.

The Safety and Technology Package is the key trim-level upgrade to look for because it adds blind-spot monitoring, rear emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, and the JBL audio system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Toyota Supra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 239 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 77.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,343, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Toyota Supra's resale value?

The current average of $47,606 sits slightly below last year's $47,863.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable rather than volatile. For you, that usually means fewer surprises if you buy at the right price and hold the car for a while. It also points to a model that has maintained demand without a sharp drop in value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Toyota Supra safe?

The 2021 Toyota Supra has not been crash-tested by NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, auto high beams, and knee airbags for both the driver and front passenger. Blind-spot monitoring, rear emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control are included in the Safety and Technology Package, so you’ll want to confirm whether a used example has that option if safety tech matters to you.

Should I buy a 2021 Toyota Supra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 77% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds two new engines, including a more affordable four-cylinder and a more powerful six-cylinder.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $50,375, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $47,606 average.
• It emphasizes sharp driving dynamics and standard advanced safety features.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $50,972, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $47,606 average.
• It keeps the same performance focus while adding the newer model-year lineup.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the best primary choice if you want the strongest mix of price, performance, and availability. If you’re more price-sensitive, shop the 2021 carefully first, then compare it with nearby years only if you find a cleaner or better-equipped example at a similar price.
