Why it stands out
The 2021 Toyota Highlander Hybrid is a standout in the midsize SUV segment, particularly for families seeking a balance of fuel efficiency and functionality. With a fuel efficiency rating of 36 mpg in combined driving, it excels in delivering cost-effective operations. Designed with practicality in mind, it accommodates up to eight passengers and provides ample cargo space, making it a reliable choice for transporting families and their belongings. The model includes notable enhancements such as upgraded safety features in the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+, which includes emergency steering assistance and intersection support. However, some limitations exist, particularly with the cramped third-row seating and engine noise during acceleration, which could be a consideration for potential buyers. Overall, the Hyundai Highlander Hybrid combines value with advanced technology, making it a prominent option for those in the market for a family-friendly SUV.

Great car with good fuel economy. Not perfect as it’s a tight 3rd row but for shorter people it’s passable and fine for small children. No 3row suv in its class has a large 3rd row. I wanted a hybrid and Toyota is the most reliable
